You can discuss common minor illness symptoms and get advice on self-care, what to expect, and what your next steps should be.
What happens during the appointment?
You will be asked about your symptoms, how long they have been present, and any relevant health information, then you will be given clear advice on what to do next.
What should I bring with me?
Bring a list of your current medicines and any allergy information if you can, and be ready to describe your symptoms and when they started.
Will it be private?
Yes, you will be seen in a private setting so you can talk openly and ask questions comfortably.
What happens after the appointment?
You will leave with practical next steps and advice on what to monitor, and you may be guided to further support if it is needed.
Will I have to pay for the medicine?
If we supply a medicine on the NHS, the usual NHS prescription charge applies, the same as if your GP had prescribed it. If you don't normally pay for prescriptions, you won't pay here either.
