A PCR test is a nucleic acid test (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test) that is used to tell if you currently have COVID-19. We are a UK Government approved registered testing centre. For more information here.
It is currently the International Gold standard for testing COVID-19 as it is deemed the highest sensitivity and the highest specificity for COVID-19 and is the most accurate test for detecting the virus.
Our labs are accredited by UKAS specifically for COVID-19 testing to ISO15189 standards. We are also undergoing UKAS accreditation (currently pending Stage 3), and would be fully accredited shortly. UK Government deadline: 30th June 2021.
The test includes a member of staff testing yourself and we will issue a certificate to you, as clinical validation via email. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm. For all other times, we are certainly able to do this but by appointment only.
